The Inverted Cross is a satanic symbol when a Satanist (or actually any person) uses it to express their stance, ideas and / or feelings of opposition toward Christianity.

You can tell the difference between “St. Peters Cross” and “The Inverted Cross” easily; by the context in which it is displayed, and by the intent of the person or group who displays it.

The alchemical sigil of sulfur (aka brimstone – some wrongly call this the Leviathan Cross) is a Satanic Symbol when it is used to represent satanic ideas – such as the dark mysteries of the Life Force, or the rampant / avenging spirit of life .. or .. whatever….

The *Sigil of Baphomet* is the registered trademark of The Church of Satan. It is adapted from an earlier source, and it’s history is documented by The Church of Satan on their website www.churchofsatan.com

It is OK to be angry, it is better than OK to oppose that which works against you. How can you live otherwise? How can you make your environment safe and healthy for you?

Satanism embraces this. Satanism encourages us to recognize, confront and embrace the part of /us/ that expresses itself as negative emotion and ideation – to act intelligently on it, but not to let these things eat us up or drive us to stupidity.

Satanic Semiology:
1. No symbol is inherently satanic.
2. Any symbol can be satanic if a Satanist uses it, satanically. aka if a Satanist associates the symbol with a *principle* of Satanism.

3. Both of these symbols, the inverted cross and the brimstone cross can be used and have been used by Satanists to signal satanic ideas.
4. Both of these symbols, the inverted cross and the brimstone cross can be used and have been used by non-Satanists to signal non-satanic ideas.
5. Neither of these symbols originated in Satanism, nor in any other religion.
